Kinderlogo: Logo for the Youngest Learners

Kinderlogo

Kinderlogo is an adaptation of Logo for young children, offering Logo's stimulating environment for creative exploration, problem-solving, and discovery for K-3 students and those with special needs. Activities and concepts in Kinderlogo are aimed at ability levels that include non-readers as well as children with beginning reading and writing skills.

Kinderlogo offers a set of 24 activities, divided into five sequential levels designed to accompany a child's developmental growth. As children experiment with each new set of commands, they gain control over the computer, observe cause and effect relationships, improve visual discrimination, develop problem-solving and prediction skills, and work toward goals. Kinderlogo commands are related to Logo instructions in a simple manner, allowing a smooth transition to Logo when the child is ready.

Kinderlogo is available for both Macintosh and Windows computer in single-user and site license formats. Kinderlogo is a unique and creative way to use technology to enhance learning for the youngest students. Learn more about Kinderlogo
